Cost factors include dimensions, insulation quality, glazing extent, electrical complexity, and finishes. We recommend viewing this as investment rather than expense — quality garden rooms add substantial property value whilst providing decades of use.
Our Western Red Cedar buildings require minimal maintenance. Cedar naturally resists rot, decay, and insects, ageing gracefully to a silver-grey patina without treatment. Annual maintenance includes cleaning gutters, checking seals, and inspecting roof coverings. Cedar can be treated with oils to maintain original colouring if preferred.
